Machine Installation
Hawkeye has experienced technicians to help install and supervise the installation of Hawkeye pipe and manhole machinery, robotic processing equipment, and MBK cagemaking machines. Installation services provided include setting of machinery, if requested, and final placement of the machine. Also included are programming, startup, and training services.
Plant Layout and Design
To maximize the efficiency of a concrete products manufacturing plant, it is essential that the machine be located properly so that the finished products can be efficiently distributed from the machine; and that the building be designed for a streamlined flow of materials to the machine. Hawkeye has installed hundreds of machines for many applications, and have experienced engineers available to make sure your plant is designed correctly. Our engineers can also recommend and help specify the various support equipment used in a manufacturing facility. This plant layout and design service is provided with each new machine installation.
Production Troubleshooting and Efficiency
With any processing equipment, from time to time it may be necessary to solve production issues that arise. Hawkeye’s experienced staff of technicians has witnessed many of these production issues and have the know-how to solve them. Our technicians are trained to help you with product quality or production efficiency issues. These services can be provided by phone or on-site.
Training
At the time of installation, a Hawkeye technician will be on-site to train your production personnel in the proper way to operate the machinery. To keep you abreast of current trends and to provide your employees with continuing training, Hawkeye personnel also provide on-site training schools and clinics. Topics can include re inforcement, mix design, quality, and production efficiency.
Hawkeye Institute of Technology
Hawkeye’s Institute of Technology, located at our headquarters in Mediapolis, IA, offers courses for users of Hawkeye equipment, and will expand in 2009 to include classes on Pedershaab equipment. Led by trained and experienced instructors, attendees will gain valuable knowledge to maximize the effectiveness and profitability of their plants.
