As compared to conventional cage machines, the CageFlex machine features three-phase, 1000Hz welding technology. This new technology reduces power consumption, extends wear part life, and improves cage roundness.

Cage Removal Robot
The Hawkeye Cage Removal Robot automatically offloads completed cages from the CageFlex Machine, permitting the machine operator to simultaneously feed longitudinals to the machine. This telescopes operations for faster output and reduces operator fatigue. The Robot is also capable of setting the cage into the vertical position ready for use in the pipe-making process.
