Hawkeye’s PumpCast form system revolutionizes the wet cast method of production. Rather than feed concrete into the form with a traditional overhead bucket, concrete is pumped into the form through an intake valve mounted at the bottom of the form set. This unique bottom-filling process pushes the entrapped air out of the form set as it fills and consolidates the concrete without the need for vibration. Additionally, this unique feeding concept permits the form set to be totally sealed from top-to-bottom. This eliminates the need to strike or trowel products and permits the top and bottom joint rings to be mounted to the form setso they do not have to be independently handled during demolding.
PumpCast form technology can be utilized in traditional plants or incorporated into automated precast plants to bring production line efficiency to the wet cast production method.
Forms are available for a full range of pipe sizes and manhole products, including riser sections, cone sections, catch basins, and monolithic bases with cast-in flow channels. PumpCast technology can also be used to manufacture a wide range of special products as well.
